We discover a remarkably bright, strong and multiply lensed star-forming galaxy at z=6.07, which provides us with an unprecedented view from stellar to cold interstellar medium in an early galaxy for the first time.
The left panel shows a Hubble Space Telescope color image of a massive galaxy cluster which causes a strong gravitational lensing effect and magnifies faint emission from galaxies behind. The multiply imaged galaxy, RXCJ0600-z6, is marked with the yellow squares. ALMA detects bright [CII] 158um emission line from these multiple images, shown in red contours and spectra in the middle and right panels, respectively.
